When 22 KC print society members got together to share a print that meant something to each of us, STORIES opened up, and it got exciting in the Spencer Room of the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. Here is Brucie:

"The Partegat Pond was first exhibited in Boston in 1883. The art department of the New England Manufacturers Mechanics Institute held a major exhibition of contemporary....We are all interested in contemporary art. In his day, 1883, he WAS CONTEMPORARY." Brucie Hopkins

Brucie Hopkins introduces her etching by Benjamin Lander. One minute video.
Hopkins is a member of the Nelson Atkins Print Society.
